Legal researchers often struggle to integrate scientific and medical data with their inquiries. The databases and resources used to locate these materials may seem as unfamiliar as the terminology, but there are a host of sources designed to help your do interdisciplinary research.

Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality
The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about sexuality. It is the oldest organization of professionals interested in the study of sexuality in the United States. SSSS brings together an interdisciplinary group of professionals who believe in the importance of both the production of quality research and the clinical, educational, and social applications of research related to all aspects of sexuality.
Kinsey Institute
Many researchers also use the Kinsey Institute’s library, collections, and scholarly archives to learn more about the history of sexuality. Resources include the works of Alfred Kinsey and Masters & Johnson. The original data, and codebooks from the Alfred Kinsey era are also available for limited use by scholars.
The Clayman Institute for Gender Research
The Michelle R. Clayman Institute for Gender Research creates knowledge and seeks to implement change that promotes gender equality at Stanford, nationally, and internationally. Since its founding in 1974, the Institute has offered many programs to further gender equality. We set a broad research agenda, translate gender research, convene interdisciplinary networks of scholars and advocates, empower women's voices and educate students.The Institute is based at Serra House, which has been its home since 1979.
