Economics working papers
Economic "working papers" are largely complete and are published to obtain comments and suggestions from other scholars. Even though they are not final, they can still be useful resources and often have substantial influence on public policy. Be sure to verify if the working paper has been published in final form in a peer-reviewed journal by using other journal databases, and cite to that publication.

- Social Science Research NetworkSSRN is devoted to the rapid, worldwide dissemination of social science research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences, including the law. Most of the full-text papers can be downloaded for free.
Check other locations, such as HeinOnline or the Library's Journal Locator, for articles that require payment.

Contains citations and abstracts for articles, books, and papers on topics in economics such as accounting, capital markets, econometrics, economic forecasting, federal regulations, labor, monetary theory, and more. - National Bureau of Economics Research Working PapersNBER Working Papers have not undergone the review accorded official NBER publications; in particular, they have not been submitted for approval by the Board of directors. They are intended to make results of NBER research available to other economists in preliminary form to encourage discussion and suggestions for revision before final publication.
