This organization was started by a group of scientists after winning a ban on the pesticide DDT. Today the organization combines the expertise of scientists, economists and attorneys to take-on the most urgent environmental threats. NRDC provides a legislative watch service and legislative analysis that could be useful for statutory research. NRDC's testimonies before Congress are archived back to 2001.
